ad a) Agreement between EZU and LGA BAYERN - GS Mark
EZU, within the framework of extension of its services, has made the contract on recognition of test results and inspections with German testing laboratory LGA Bayern seated in Nuremberg. On the basis of product type test and inspection at the manufacturer carried out by EZU , this contract enables Czech manufacturers to obtain the GS Mark - Geprüfte Sicherheits, in Germany very much demanded and well-known. German manufacturers are reciprocally enabled to obtain the license for the ESÈ Mark on the basis of the product type test and inspection carried out by LGA Bayern.
The list of product categories for which it is possible to obtain the GS Mark in this manner is practically identical with the category list of products for which it is possible to obtain license for the ESČ Mark, i.e.:

ad b) Multilateral agreement (CEFTA countries)
EZU has made agreements on recognition of test results with testing laboratories in Poland, Hungary and Slovenia. The basis of these agreements is to carry out tests in accordance with European EN standards, or international IEC standards. The certificate issued by our institute, together with the Test Certificate, is accepted by testing laboratories of the above mentioned countries and facilitates obtaining national certificates of these countries.
This agreement practically relates to all product categories which are tested in our institution:

Benefits of a multilateral agreement within the framework of CEFTA countries:
- Cost and time saving when exporting to member states of these systems
- Facilitated exports to the countries which belong to the additional markets for export of Czech goods
- Having obtained the certificate and after carrying out additional tests, it is possible to acquire the internationally acknowledged certificates CCA, ENEC.
- The manufacturer has created the basis for issuance of Statement of Conformance in accordance with the Act No. 22/97 Coll. and in compliance with guidelines valid in the area of the European union - CE marking (it is only necessary to carry out complementary tests covering differences between IEC and EN).
ad c) Easy access to the Scandinavian market
Within the framework of extension of its services, EZU has made a contract on recognition of certificates, test results and inspections with Swedish testing laboratory SEMKO and Norway testing laboratory NEMKO. These contracts enable manufacturers from the worldwide to obtain on the basis of EZU ´s Certificate, Test Certificates and protocols on inspection at the manufacturer carried out by EZU , in Sweden possibly in Norway and whole Scandinavia, the well known and demanded Mark of SEMKO or NEMKO testing laboratories . Reciprocally, on the basis of test certificates and protocols on inspection issued by SEMKO or NEMKO, it is possible to obtain the ESÈ Mark.

Contracts brings the following benefits, saving the manufacturer's costs:
- EZU ensures the settlement of all procedures that are necessary for obtaining the Mark of SEMKO or NEMKO testing laboratories - for the manufacturer it is not necessary to enter into any negotiations with testing laboratory
- In these cases it is not necessary to send a product sample to Sweden or Norway - all tests are carried out in EZU only once

Procedure for obtaining the SEMKO and NEMKO marks on the basis of certificates, test results, and inspections carried out by EZU
- The basic condition for obtaining the SEMKO and NEMKO marks through EZU is to carry out the product type test, carry out inspection at the manufacturer by the EZU ´s personnel, and subsequently, to obtain the EZU Certificate. In this way the manufacturer has simultaneously met all the expectations for obtaining the license for use of the ESÈ Mark.
- After product certification, the manufacturer, in the form of power of attorney, will authorize EZU to negotiate with the SEMKO or NEMKO testing laboratories concerning the grant of SEMKO or NEMKO marks
- EZU will send to the SEMKO or NEMKO testing laboratories the following documents:
- SEMKO or NEMKO order
- Test Certificates including photographs of a product (will be prepared in EZU)
- Technical documentation in English (diagrams, drawings, list of critical components, and the like) - this documentation must be delivered to EZU by the manufacturer
- Declaration of product identity (this declaration must be signed by the manufacturer)
- Operating instructions and installation manual in the Swedish language (translation may be ensured by EZU )
- A questionnaire on inspections or report on carried out inspections
- A power of attorney - authorization from the manufacturer to negotiate with the SEMKO or NEMKO testing laboratory. All these documents, except operating instructions and installation manual, must be in English
- After presentation of these documents, the personnel of SEMKO or NEMKO will review these documents and in case of any doubts they have the right to ask for a product sample
- After carrying out of this review, the SEMKO testing laboratory or the NEMKO testing laboratory will issue the license for the use of SEMKO or NEMKO Mark for a particular product
- In order to maintain license for the SEMKO or NEMKO Mark it is necessary to pay regular yearly charges directly to the SEMKO or NEMKO testing laboratory and to obey regularly inspection in the manufacturing plant (usually once per year)
Procedure for obtaining the ESÈ Mark on the basis of certificate, test results and inspections carried out by the SEMKO or NEMKO testing laboratory
This procedure is fully identical with the above mentioned procedure, operating instructions must be written in the Czech language.
