LVD NBF     -    association of bodies notified under the Low Voltage Directive

EHK-OSN    -    European system for homologation of motor vehicle accessories pursuant to regulations of the European Economic Commission of the UNO

IECEE-CB    -    worldwide certification system of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) for recognition of test results pursuant to safety standards and standards for electromagnetic compatibility of electrotechnical products

EEPCA     -    European association for certification of electrical products associating members of European certification schemes whose secretariat procures Internet and documentation services for such systems

ECS        European Certification System – organization, which presents European certification schemes CCA, CCA-EMC, ENEC and HAR as a uniform system and supports joint activities under the cited schemes by its documents

CCA    -    CENELEC Certification Agreement – European system within
the CENELEC countries for recognition of test results pursuant to standards for safety of electrical products

CCA-EMC    - agreement on the use of a commonly agreed mark of conformity to European Standards for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)

ENEC    -    agreement on the use of the electrical safety mark ENEC for luminaires and other electrical products that demonstrates compliance with European standards

HAR    - agreement on the use of a commonly agreed marking (HAR) for cables and cords complying with harmonized specifications and European standards

NB MED    - coordination group for the European directive for health care products and life maintaining implantable devices
