Dear customers, dear friends,

I am pleased I can address you at the opportunity of opening our new internet pages. The matter for their creation is to modernize image of this most important marketing tool and particularly to utilize new internet technologies for communication improvement and thereby for improvement of services to our customers.

Every company is based on values they make sense for its work.

Please, let me take this opportunity to present you the values, on which the services of Electrotechnical testing institute, s.p. are based.

Safety and technical level of products are values assessed by EZU already from its foundation in 1926. Present legislation and corresponding technical standards understand safety in a much wider context than they did in the past. That is why EZU offers both electrical safety testing and testing of electromagnetic compatibility that is in principle functional safety.  Besides we offer testing of hazardous substances content, so from the aspect of safety to the environment and from many other aspects.

Quality and safety in production and services correspond with previous values from the company management systems aspect.  EZU therefore offers certification according to standards ISO 9001 for quality management systems, ISO 13485 for medical devices quality systems, ISO 20000 for information technologies management systems and according to the OHSAS 18001 for occupational safety management systems.

Ecology is an inevitable condition to ensure further society advancement. Environmental management systems certification according to the standard ISO 14001, environmental declaration verification EMAS and other EZU services contribute to the environment protection development.

Information value overgrows the value of tangible assets at present and therefore the information protection becomes a strategic discipline nowadays.  EZU offers information safety management systems certification according to the ISO/IEC 27001 and public administration information systems attestation in the area.

Confidence in business relations gains its importance especially at the present period of international trade liberalization. That is why we are convicted impartial and competent product testing and management systems assessment and consequential certificates and marks are effective means assisting our customers to strengthen the confidence at their partners.

Czech economy is export oriented and that is why EZU systematically develops international recognition of its services. International certificates and marks intended for the support on international markets are result of our efforts. EZU is a member of international certification systems and it grants international certificates and marks for electrotechnical products. EZU also offers international management systems certificates IQNet at the hand of certification body CQS.

Conformity assessment services are closely related to the legislation of the Czech Republic. Our institute obtained from the government wide range of notifications, authorizations and delegations to carry out services according to the legislation. Offering the services EZU accomplishes its goal that is government commitments support.

We are convicted the EZU conformity assessment services support the observance of the Czech legislation, advancement of competition and prestige of Czech industries and safety and knowledge of consumers and users of electrotechnical products. 

Serious, impartial and technically competent service to customers is our highest priority that is the means for realization of all previous values.
